Preecemore Farm

Preecemore Farm consists of 200 acres of beautiful rolling Gloucestershire countryside and has been in the family for 4 generations. We are extremely lucky that none of our land borders any busy roads.
We have a babbling brook, listed ancient woodland and orchards which we plan to replant as our poor trees are beyond pension age. We have the very best of sunrises and sunsets, well worth the walk to the top of the hill!

Livestock

Fiona and James rear beef which go to a local abattoir.  Our sheepdog is an expert in rounding up cattle but is scared of sheep.

Crops

We produce forage crops for our own animals and also to sell to the equine trade. This requires very high standard of product, and anything that is not suitable for horses will go to the cows and beef animals.  Nothing is ever wasted.

The fields are buzzing in the spring/summer with production of silage, haylage, wrapped hay and if we are lucky a second cut!  We've also started growing premium timothy hay specifically for the horse market.

Feed

At certain times of the year children (and adults) may like to help feed the beef animals.
